Bill: Market Reforms

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2563

Description[?]:

Another attempt to revitalise the archaic and statist economy of Telamon.

My aim is to set a precedent for wrenching some of the state-owned industries back into the hands of the private sector; they are negotiable after this legislation is passed.

My priority is not consistency, but merely to create a precedent for reform.

Fieren Goldmark
Finance Minister

MessageAlthough we do not fully agree with all of these proposed reforms, the majority of them are closer to the policies we would ideally implement.

MessageWe cannot support this legislation at this time. It is important for the continued survivability of Telamon that the government has a unified hand in managing, operating, and maintaining these facilities. It is not in Telamon's best interest to initiate decentralization at this time.
