Message | We cannot support this. We believe the current value IS a compromise. Not everyone is suited for the military and may prefer a governmental job. The choice between the two helps the individual with a taste of different career options. They may serve their term and never go back to what they did. Or, they may use the time valuably learning a new skill set and take that into a life long career. In addition to the many benefits for individuals, just think about not worrying about where your rent money will come from for an entire term, there are many benefits for the government. We provide valuable services to our citizens while educating them with real world applications of their schooling. If they choose to continue in the field after their term ends, they already have their foot in the door. -Thorden Raxney COM Party Leader |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
