Voting deadline: April 2565

Description[?]:

Hutori is in a state of emergency. Our proud nation is at risk of being destroyed by a radical, far-left communist uprising. Every moral virtue that we enjoy as citizens of Hutori - family; freedom; individuality; our age-old traditions; our culture; our societal institutions - all of these things will be torn asunder if this rampant communist infestation is not stopped, swiftly and immediately.
Therefore, we, the Hutori Conservative Council, propose the following measures in our fight to end communism in Hutori once and for all:

Article a) The establishment of a special task-force, named the 'Communist Preventions Unit', designed specifically for the task of tracking down individuals with communist predispositions, particularly those in positions of power, such as celebreties, politicians, news reporters, journalists, writers, actors and artists, and immediately removing them from their positions and jobs. In the most extreme cases, communist sympathisers will be arrested and, without due process, incarcerated, at least until the communist war is over. Furthermore to this, the Communist Preventions Unit will arrest and incarcerate any communist or communist sympathiser found guilty of plotting to overthrow the government, commit acts of terrorism, or who has provided communist groups with funding, weapons, food, shelter, or indeed assistance of any description. The Communist Preventions Unit will also trace any publically available communist media articles - including any newspaper article, television news article, or radio segmant that sympathises or encourages communism, and will ban it immediately, as well as immediately firing those involved.

Article b) The immediate quarantine of all prominantly communsit areas in Hutori - especially Lagard. All areas that are now communist strongholds will be cut off and segregated from the rest of Hutori - citizens will be encouraged to migrate from these areas to other areas of Hutori, and armed forces will then siege these areas, immediately eliminating any communist militiaman or terrorist upon site, and bombing communist strongholds and barracks if necessary.

Article c) The creation of a black list register, which will list every known or suspected communist or communist sympathiser, and will be available to all military officials, police forces, government officials, and intelligence agencies. Every individual on the register will be under close watch from the Communist Preventions Unit and will be arrested immediately if found to be participating in communist activities.

Article d) An immediate moratorium on all immigration from all known communist countries or areas throughout the world, without exception. Any known communist celebrity or politician will also be banned from entering the country immediately. Any imports of foreign items from communists or known communist countries - namely books, articles, films or videos - will be immediately banned from entering the country as well, and anyone found to be smuggling these articles will be arrested and persecuted.

Article e) Immediate legal action against the People's Revolutionary Communist Party and the FGGP, and a complete boycott of these parties in all legislation, cabinet positions, etc.

We trust that any party interested in preserving this great nation, its people, its cultural expressions, its social institutions, and its great freedoms and liberties, will vote in favour of this legislation so that we can immediately move on with the task at hand.

MessageHow peculiar that already Hutori is being transformed into a police state. It seems we were right all along.
And supported by Le Chaim no less. Well, then it'll be a police state blessed by the "center-left".

MessageA police state? If that is the case, then it is only because of communism.
We do not want to have to take such invasive, big government measures, but communism is a problem such that this is the only way possible we can eliminate it.
This legislation takes a step backward to take two steps forward. It's a matter of temporarily curbing some of the political freedoms we enjoy, to ensure that in the long run, ALL of the political freedoms we enjoy are not destroyed by the communist plague.
If we were to sit back and do nothing, watching as our once beautiful nation is savagely consumed by rabid communist dogs, what then? We would be maintaining our universal and inalienable rights, of course, but at what cost?
Having them permanently destroyed is the cost.
And that is a cost that we are not prepared to bare, for the sake of a purist interpretation of our inalienable rights.
Communism is a problem such that drastic measures must be taken, measures that in essence go against what our party would usually advocate, to ensure long-term justice and goodness. This legislation is invasive, we admit, and it is extreme, but only because communism is an extreme problem.
We refute the term 'police state', and, if our nation resembles a police state in any way, for the time being, this is only a temporary solution until the rampant communist plague has been quashed.

MessageYou're beginning to sound a lot like Hitler, no offense. He too destroyed freedom to fight communism, and look where it got him.
By taking measures such as this you're only radicalising the population even more.

MessageWe refute any claim comparing our party to fascists. Fascism is a plague on freedom just as communism is. We are taking measures to ensure that our free nation is protected from threats at all costs, to ensure that we retain the freedoms and virtues we enjoy.
We are not 'destroying freedom' as the People's Revolutionary Communist Party so alleges, but merely putting certain freedoms, such as the right to privacy, freedom of speech and expression, and freedom of press on temporary hiatus, because we recognize that this is necessary in the fight against communism.
We take umbrage to a comparison of our party with Hitler, a man we believe to be evil incarnate.
The measures we have taken in this legislation do not allign with our regular political stance - we are largely in favour of small government. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and communism is a potentially fatal plague on this country.
We will prevent this from happening at all costs.

MessageWe are dissapointed that the Viktor Schmoller Collective has voted against this legislation - we were not aware that they had alligned themselves with the far-left, and we certainly were not aware that they would even go so far as to defend the communist revolution.
The VSC is a party we have certainly had respect for, but this is a dissapointing development that we would not have expected from them.
We certainly hope that they will see the light soon.
