Description[?]:

This bill proposes to update the Telamon-Lodamun Friendship Treaty & Telamon Mutual Defense Pact.

They will be updated as such:

Telamon will withdraw from both treaties.
Telamon will create a new treaty titled Makon-Seleyan Defense Pact

The MSDP will be a defensive pact comprised of nations on the continents of Makon and Seleya.
Member nations will be dedicated to peaceful co-existence with their neighbors.
Member nations will, if so able, assist each other in times of hardship (i.e. strife, war, natural disaster).
Member nations will, if so able, protect each other from outside military forces.
Member nations will, if harmed by another member nation, defer to the World Court for judgment or other suitable international body.

Telamon will take the lead to bring our neighbors in Makon and Seleya together in friendship and mutual defense. This will enable all nations to focus on internal prosperity.

A YES vote favors updating one or both treaties.

MessageI cannot speak for Parliament, for the Prime Minister, for the President, or for the Foreign Minister. I can only speak for myself and I do so. Neither my party nor I want to be anything but friends with Lodamun. The current treaties are out of date, and you will note that at least one was authored by my party, and need to be updated.

Therefore, we must rescind the out of date treaties so that new ones can be written and ratified.

MessageBut why do we have to withdraw from the Telamon-Lodamun Friendship Treaty? It has done nothing but good.
