Bill: Keep chemicals away from nature
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pariah Idealism
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2567
Description[?]:
The reason we as a parliament should vote yes is because some places do not have the means to get rid of such materials. Unfortunately, sometimes it's uneconomical or other reasons not to use such products. This means harming our land. We have the means to do so, and it's not like we have got any money for such a task. *Styrofoam classifies as special waste as it only breaks down after 1 MILLION years have gone by. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Waste disposal responsibility.
Old value:: It is the responsibility of local governments to decide on waste disposal regulation.
Current: The government is responsible for waste disposal.
Proposed: Government disposes special waste only.

Message | The local government takes care of that. Just because it's not mentioned doesn't mean it's not implied. If the government disposes of special wastes ONLY, then it's implied that the people in the community (Local government comes in here) dispose of the rest. |

Message | it doesn't say federal government, it says government, which would include the local government. |
Date | 19:26:11, April 25, 2008 CET | From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Keep chemicals away from nature |
Message | Actually its specificly states that the government only takes care of special waste, so its implies that any government, be it local or federal, only takes care of the special waste. How to dispose of normal garbage will have to be left to the local communitys to sort out (not including the local government as its part of our government structure) |
