Bill: Hemelism Bill: Secularism - Promotion

Details

Submitted by[?]: Aldurian Protectorate Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2567

Description[?]:

Mustafa Hemel is the leader of the MHP and has a vision for a new state in Kafuristan. A new moderate society must prevail against the extremists of the left who have sought to interfere in the lives of the people. Mustafa Hemel proposes a new secular state where the religious views of the people are accepted, whether they have any, or not. The ban on religion is deeply offensive to many, and must be overturned. Therefore Hemel, as leader of the MHP, proposes the following.

We see no need for restrictions upon evangelism.

MessageArticle 4 is obviously contentious, and we would accept a compromise whereby religious symbols could not be worn in public buildings.

Article 7 is the most necessary because the current law is pointless, countless people continue to worship in Kafuristan, one political party is very much tied to a religion, another was recently religious, and the MHP knows full well that many members continue to practice their faith.
