Message | why is time being wasted proposing these bills that will take away the livelihoods of these poor women who are struck down by the inept policies of the current regime as opposed to debating the real matters of the day. This is again evidence of this govenrments attempts to take away peoples civil rights and self determination!!!! |

Message | Prostitution is a livelihood? Oh, borderline slavery is a livelihood. This bill will set free the women (or men) who are under control of another person for a reason to make a few bucks off of their sex. Prostitution is just too risky to our nation's health. If a person is walking around with an STD and is giving it to several people each night, the consequences are simply unbearable. |

Message | That is a very narrow minded view. Maybe these Prostitutes are empowered. By using there God given gifts they are providing a service and providing themselves with money. Why do you believe they are under the control of anyone except themselves. Is this not a narrow minded conservative view with no basis in fact. Also if your party is so worried about STDs why not give free condoms to Prostitutes, or when I propose the bill why not back it so as to get it passed and move out of living in the past. |
Date | 00:37:36, April 29, 2008 CET | From | Progressive Liberal Party of Hulstria | To | Debating the The Iris Bill |
Message | The problem is you can ban it but you can not change the problem. Prostitution is the oldest profession known to mankind and will not dis appear because we want it to. Al though we support the bill, we must be realistic and say no. |
