Message | Many people are sons of the land. I am pretty sure that nothing would change for these people if Articles 1 & 2 are enacted. In fact, I see no point in Article 2 except condemning those farming GM crops to face legislative uncertainty. However, Article 3 is by far the most outrageous part of this legislation. You are potentially asking families who have worked the soil for generations to give it up at the whim of some local bureaucrat! |

Message | Articles 1 and 2 we are adamantly against. Article 3 we are unsure about, because whilst the League supports regulation of farm size the League is also staunchly opposed to granting authority to local governments and supporting devolution of power from the central government. |
