| The situation between Darnussia & Hobrazia is getting more tense every day due to the border conflict and the military intelligence reports suggest that the war is propable. In Dundorf the militant communists are finishing their revolution in which the country will be changed into communist state, increasing instability and undemocratic development in the region. Due to more unstable & unpredictable security situation in Artania, the Ministry of Defence suggests that instead of returning 5 billion Dolgars which were used for weapon investments, to pay back the national debt, the money would be used for the following: # For the Air Force: - 25 Eagle F-1-zx fighters to replace older Raven F-2 & F-3 fighters (75,000,000 Dolgars/fighter) = 1,875 billion Dolgars # For the Navy: - 10 Mine-layer ships for protecting the Dorvish coast (31,250,000 Dolgars/ship) = 313,5 million Dolgars # For the Army (mobilization, training, upkeep expenses): - 7 Infantry Brigades for strengthening defence (100,000,000 Dolgars/brigade) = 700 million Dolgars - 3 Tank Brigades for strategic reserve (500,000,000 Dolgars/brigade) = 1,5 billion Dolgars - 2 Mechanized Brigades for tactical reserve (250,000,000 Dolgars/brigade) = 500 million Dolgars The Ministry of Defence also asks an authorization by the House of Representatives to scrap 250 old Raven F-3 fighters to cut maintenance & warehouse expenses and a permission to sell 330 Raven F-2 fighters for either Kirlawa, Aloria or Davostan, depending about their level of interest. * Finance Minister Andrew Walthers * Defence Minister Klaus Landsberg |

| Message | OOC: If the bill as a whole will be rejected then I shall bring a supplementary budget proposal to the House which would decrease defence funding by 5 billion Dolgars and I hope that then the parties which opposed this bill would vote for the supplementary budget bill. |
