Message | Why? I might support, but would appreciate a debate before this particular bill is passed. |

Message | We think 18 is a bit too much , that is the adult age. Some people are just not good at school and they might want to go to the workforce. |

Message | That is a good point... against your argument. 18 is the age of adulthood. I would consider supporting this bill if we lowered the age of adulthood to 17. Also, child labor is forbidden according to our current laws. So, these 17 year olds could not legally work anyway. I wonder what the purpose of this legislation is other than to increase the number of unsupervised youths with too much time on their hands? |

Message | Child labor only applies to children who are forced to work. At 17 years of age you can work, if that is the person's choice. One year of age difference is not that much, a person is not going to be more mature because he/she is 18. Maybe you can help with this. A person finishes high school between the ages of 17 and 18 years old, is that correct? |

Message | Child labor is forbidden and the age of adulthood is 18. So children are those under 18 and legally cannot work.. Please follow the laws of Lodamun and don't pretend that 17 year olds can work when the law explicitly state they cannot. |

Message | The law only says childs cannot work. I think the question is when is a person not considered a child anymore. If the person decided to work, why tell them, no you can't. This might be an interesting case for the Supreme Court. |
