Bill: Worker's relief bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2114
Description[?]:
Considering recent cutbacks and eliminations of programs (low income farming subsidies, public child care, public pensions) that were necessary for maintaining the quality of life of the more disadvantaged members of the community; While also considering the unsubsidised nature of medication, etc... It is absolutely vital that some taxes are cut for this section of the population to ensure that they can continue to meet day-to-day living costs. Currently, we propose eliminating the sales tax on essential goods, to make day-to-day life easier for the working class. |

Message | And when we reinstate the welfare state, the advantage of supporting this is that those under welfare are even better off, considering that they no longer have to pay a regressive sales tax. |
