Message | Should subsidies/relief still be made available to nominated privately-run critical services, if they are in trouble and not providing the standard of service Vanuku requires? It could be construed as un-democratic for the Government to seize control of the industry again if it is failing. |

Message | One of the great advantages of the private market is competition: if a particular company cannot provide goods or services to the satisfaction of its customers, its competitors will prosper. And that's the terribly flaw of the current system - there is no alternative to poorly performing public corporations. |

Message | Massive state ownership of industry has been a failure everywhere it has ever been applied; to think it would be any different in Vanuku is the worst sort of arrogance. Fellow Vanukans, it is time for us to return to the only sane economic system: free enterprise. |

Message | What about telemarketers? If the Gavernment does not intervene at all, can they stop Vanuks being harrassed during dinner by persistent telemarketing callers? We have heard tales of horror regarding this loophole from other nations on Terra. Perhaps some sort of national register citizens can enrol onto to be exempt from telemarketing calls? |
