Message | This proposal was part of the crazily-mixed Act called "Economic Stance 2570", which was voted down by the Senate, as it included many freedom-reducing clauses. However, we the Progressive Liberals believe that this single proposal was interesting to the citizenship and good for Cildania, as it advances the federalization of its too big government. |
Date | 04:39:29, May 05, 2008 CET | From | Justice League of Cildania | To | Debating the Federalization of the Drug Control Administration Act |
Message | What does it matter if a central or local government practices prohibition? Both are violating the Cildanian Citizen's right to choice and property of their own person. |
Date | 05:01:24, May 05, 2008 CET | From | Cildanian Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Federalization of the Drug Control Administration Act |
Message | In that case, why doesn't the JLC repeal homicide laws, or legalize slavery as a form of repaying debts, as they too infringe upon "freedom". |

Message | Freedom to kill violates the freedom of another to live. The freedom to help or harm your own body violates the rights of no one else. |
Date | 12:37:06, May 05, 2008 CET | From | Progressive Liberal Party | To | Debating the Federalization of the Drug Control Administration Act |
Message | The PLP would in principle support removal of all bans on any kind of drugs, as excessive regulation only creates a black market with way more risks for the buyer. However, our central committee has decided to support transfer of this competence to the cantons instead, because this difficult issue with moral as well as economical faces, can be more easily dealt from an administration closer to the citizen, with shorter response times. |
Date | 21:06:29, May 05, 2008 CET | From | Progressive Liberal Party | To | Debating the Federalization of the Drug Control Administration Act |
Message | It is time for the Senate and the parties of Cildania to show their commitment towards decentralization: the bill moves to the vote! |
