MessageI'm open to this idea, but what I really wanted to say is that I'm going to be using the term "supermajority" until the day I die.

MessageThe thing with 499 is that 250 isn't as round as 200 or 300. :)

We first wanted to make it 599 and still feel that's the best, but we see 399 as an acceptable alternative. If the KPP prefers 599, we'll wait for other preferences, but will be willing to change it back to 599 before the vote if that has the most support.

MessageI do know that DCP prefers more seats over less, but am not sure about NPP. I guess we'll have to wait for them to opine.

MessageThe NPP prefers 599, so that's what seems to have majority approval. We hope the SHP won't vote against it just because they think there are too many. It makes for better math this way.

MessageI agree that an odd number will be better, but I tried many times to lower this number...

MessageI am agree with this proposal. How typical is it of SHP to vote against it while his seats are plentiful.

MessageThe NPP has indicated a preference for 599, and we believe the KPP supports the odd number of seats either way, so if they vote as we expect they will, this will pass.
