Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | We the Progressive Liberals agree with the spirit of this bill, as our core ideas tend towards a healthy secularism. Separation of Church and State was a hard-fought issue centuries ago, and prayers should only be allowed in religious schools, subject to stringent regulations to ensure that the content of their education does not incite hate against other social groups (other creeds, sexual orientations, races, etc.). Thus, we'll join this bill, as it stands, in the vote. |
Date | 01:43:33, May 08, 2008 CET | From | Justice League of Cildania | To | Debating the Religion reform bill |
Message | Privatize education and none of this would be an issue. |
Date | 21:09:06, May 08, 2008 CET | From | Cildanian Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Religion reform bill |
Message | The CNP does have some reservations about this, but will support secularism so long as it does not go too far. (OCC: laïcité of France for example) |
