MessageWe the Progressive Liberals agree with the spirit of this bill, as our core ideas tend towards a healthy secularism. Separation of Church and State was a hard-fought issue centuries ago, and prayers should only be allowed in religious schools, subject to stringent regulations to ensure that the content of their education does not incite hate against other social groups (other creeds, sexual orientations, races, etc.). Thus, we'll join this bill, as it stands, in the vote.

MessagePrivatize education and none of this would be an issue.

MessageThe CNP does have some reservations about this, but will support secularism so long as it does not go too far. (OCC: laïcité of France for example)
