Message | No. There is no reason the federal government needs to get involved in recreational activities at all. This is a waste of taxpayer money. |

Message | What if we completely privatized sports clubs. |

Message | We think ti makes more sense to leave in the hands of local government so they can craft this policy as is necessary for the locality. And to the FRP, Sports Clubs can't really be entirely privatised as the facilities are expensive to build and maintain and private companies are unlikely to build them in poorer areas due to the lack of profit to be made there. In some cases it's necessary for local government and non-profit organisations to work together to ensure that the public has access to these facilities and the social and health benefit they provide. |

Message | The Democratic Party believes that this is a local issue, and that the Federal government has better things to do than worry about games. |

Message | We support the message of the Democratic Party in this stance. While we at the MAU feel that no government involvement in recreational activities should occur at all, it is a local issue to create and regulate, not a federal. We are deeply disappointed in the Federalist Party for this betrayal of the market. |

Message | Unfortunately, we cannot side with the federalist party, as we agree that it would just be a waste of money. |
