Message | We do not feel asking that all vehicle models in Kanjor use environmentally friendly fuels is a great burden if any at all on the consumer. Any inflated prices (which we deny as well) on vehicles is quickly made up for by the cheap price of environmentally friendly fuels in comparison to skyrocketing prices of gas by the barrel in other nations. Also, alteration of this law as such would create tons of pollution in all areas of nature that has so far been protected from vehicular sources. The people will pay 10-fold what they saved on their cars through maintenance efforts on roads, buildings, houses, paintjobs and the like caused by acid rain. The pollution will also kill off animal and fish populations leading to higher prices on food and a need for more imports. The ozone layer will also become more and more depleted leading to skin cancers and visual defencies; our kids will not be able to play outside for fear of disease. And acid rain will also destroy our forests by poisoning and eating away at their beings. The list goes on and far outweighs the one supporting premise in your argument. The sudden influx of gas emitting vehicles will put our natural resources and economy into a state of shock from the disastorous effects of pollution. |

Message | If environmentally friendly cars were cost competitive, we'd see many more of them in the real world. We still wish to give tax incentives to use them, but we don't want to mandate their use, in the fear that we may make it impossible for some people to own a car. |

Message | They're going to be more in the RL. Give them time. Computers took centuries be used in so many private homes, but they got them there. And they're already making that leap. SUV sales are dropping hybrids are picking up steam. Just because most people are reluctant to give up their battle tank sized cars doesn't mean their better. |

Message | And you're telling me you dont care at all about the many, many side effects this will incur that I described above? |

Message | We care about the side effects, but our belief is that once enviro-friendly cars become cost competitive, with the tax incentives we're giving for buying them, everyone will buy them just to get the tax incentives. We hope that comes as soon as possible. However, an effect of current law is that many fewer people can afford autos that are compliant than will be able to if this bill passes. We are bothered most by people being unable to afford a car. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
