It is the business of the Federal government to dictate policy unto the national military which at present is a rightfully separate unit from the military. It is with this in mind that such a proposal is put forward. Local governments ought both fund through taxation and support thereby local domestic protection organizations. |

Proposed: The operation and funding of the police is left to local governments.

Message | The idea is that you would have the local police who would handle relatively minor crimes while the national department, the Zardugali Investigation Service, would deal with major crimes, as well as be able to maintain a larger staff of highly trained officers within specialist fields such as criminology and certain aspects of forensics which would not be worthwhile for local departments to maintain. |
