Bill: Health and Safety Of Children Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Humanic Republicanist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2579
Description[?]:
The health and safety of Telamon's children is of the utmost importance to us. We set forth these three articles for consideration: 1. As it stands, children can be taught by unqualified people within their homes. Whether they go to a private or public school does not matter, but they should be educated in some sort of school. Those whose children have disabilities that impair learning may fill out a form from their State government to request the option to teach their child from home. 2. There have been cases reported of children doing horrible things and they keep on doing them because they know they're protected. Now we wouldn't suggest that the teachers be allowed to do whatever they want, but a government office that sets up a list of what is or isn't permissible would likely work. 3. We believe that a rating system for movies should be established. The ratings would be: FA: Fit for All (Ages 0 and up) FC: Fit for Children (Ages 6 and up. Contains crude humor) F-T: Fit for Teens and Preteens (Ages 11 and up. Contains crude language, mild Violence, Mild Nudity) FT: Fit for Teens (Ages 13 and up. Contains Violence and Nudity) FA: Fit for Adults (Ages 16 and up. Contains Sexual Images and Extreme Gore) |
