Bill: Ludity In Public Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Humanic Republicanist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2579

Description[?]:

Public displays of affection are absolutely fine....up to a point. Sexual intercourse in public view is not conductive to a good society, and should not be allowed. What one wishes to do in the private of their own house or car is their own business, but in public is a different matter entirely. When a person is caught in the act of public sex, they will be given a small fee of several pounds and told to stop the action.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
