MessageWe do endorse increased defence spending, but not to a level where it consists of more than a third of our nation's total expenditure! If the amount was reduced to 85,000,000,000 ZAR, that would be much more managable, would not lead to economic meltdown and would also provide for the needs of military improvements, according to internal costings with Grunder Industries

Message"With the recent vast cuts in the budget, the state of employment as it is, the creation of new and innovative markets and reduction in taxes has lead to this opportunity to take full advantage of our burgeoning surplus and devote enormous energy into pursuing stronger offensive and defensive weaponry. I personally find it odd that the Minister of Defense having been a CEO with Grunder Industries would take delight in this news; not be a member of a party who opposes it. Grunder and all other defense companies will benefit from this and further expand employment oppurtunities and create more wealth for our citizens.

This also comes directly on behalf of the looming possibilities that military armaments and aide has been publicly endorsed by Lord Marshall Vortigon and as acting Minister of Finance it is my duty to prepare the nation for what lies ahead. I will urge my colleagues in the N.F.C. to abstain henceforth until the Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs provide the National Directorate a dossier on the demands expected with the Hutori situation looming."

Minister of Finance,
A. H. Thamion
