From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | I have calculated and this would give us a 1.2 billion LOD suplus should the budget propose pass, should it fail we would have a about a 8 billion LOD surplus.
This is alot closer to a flat tax than the previous bill proposed by LP
Also this is the same as last one, just removed a few of the brackets which was unnesecary because they where taxed the same (>4,000 >5,000 >6,000 and > 7250 all at 18% and >2,000 and >3,000 both at 17% |

From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | Well this tax cut will give you a surplus even if the budget proposel pass, so I dont see the need to wait for that. As for your tax proposel I favor a more flat tax, and therefore I am proposing a tax cut which is alot more fair than yours in my opinion, and since I oppose your tax proposel (for reason I have already stated) I dont see the need to wait for your tax cut proposel eather.
I would like to know why you oppose my tax cut tho.
We will still have a surplus
The poor is not getting a tax increase
This almost ensures a flat tax for everyone who is not poor on 17-18%, and at the same time lets the poor pay less in tax. |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | I don't oppose you proposal but I have doubts about it. I also see this as very rude. My tax proposal and the budget, more importantly should have submitted for vote first. It is something called courtesy. I'll have to think about changing my vote. |

From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | Well this does not affect your budget proposel in any way, since the money will still be there. And this tax cut was proposed as a counter to yours, so I dont feel like I would have to wait for you to propose your tax cut, but I do see why you might look at this as rude |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | Not too many people think is fair. I don't disagree with tax cuts in general but I favor tax cuts for the poor as well as the rich. I hope you understand my point. |

From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of November 2578 | Message | Whats not fair is letting someone pay a less % of there hard earned money than others. I dont oppose tax cuts for the poor on a general basis, its just that I think the tax % they pay are way to unbalanced when compared to the middleclass, they already pay alot less tax then any of the social groups, and you want them to pay even less. I do have a solution, and that is if we cut the budget with enough money to afford this, we could abolish the income tax for the lowest, and keep around a 18% flat tax for eveyone else. We could cut among other things welfare and public health a bit, since then the poor wouldnt have to pay tax and would be able to afford more often than they are today |
