Bill: Advertising and Bank Act of 2579

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kirlawan People's Justice Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2579

Description[?]:

A recent bill regarding the economy
http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=193138
contained a variety of articles, some which we favored, some opposed. We voted for it in order to pass the former, and hope to reopen the discussion on the latter here.

As long as it's well-regulated, to prevent problems such as deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent claims, we see no reason to forbid private advertising.
And private banks and credit unions, if similarly overseen to ensure honesty and prudence (and with the government's central bank remaining available for those who prefer it), can provide additional options for Kirlawan citizens.
