| Message | The FBSP is highly sympathetic to this proposal. Whilst we feel that prostitution is a patriarchal institution and do not wish to encourage it, we also believe that it is essential that prostitutes work in safe, legally regulated conditions. |

When describing this profession as patriachal the FBSP needs to remember that many prostitues are men and their pimps may be women.
