Bill: Nuclear power reform act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Theofascist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2114
Description[?]:
There is no need to encourage nuclear power. I will not propose abolishing it, but a technology that may have disastrous consequences should not be unduly encouraged. Energy companies may operate nuclear power plants if they wish; but we should not spend tax dinars on making them. |

Message | I'm willing to remove the second article if it makes it more acceptable. But the first article stays as I think that tax relief/subsidies on nuclear power is a waste of money. |

Message | We prefer renewable energy, but nuclear power is also an acceptable alternative over fossil fuels. Government support will ensure that we can more easily keep it safe. |

Message | I can't decide over nuclear power. It has many potentially beneficial implications (no discharges in to the air) and can mass produce more efficiently than fossil fuels. But of course, the radioactive waste is obviously extremely harmful. |
