Bill: CPL Privatisation of Health Facilities Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2115

Description[?]:

This is a bill to substantially reduce the role of the state in the lives if its citizens, and furthermore to bring power and decision making closer to Likatonians.

We feel that the market forces should be applied to the health industry, bringing down prices and waiting lists and raising the quality of service and expertise. However the state will still provide for poorest of Likatonians, nominally the elderly.

MessageWe are beginning to wonder if the Conservative Party has rediscovered devolutionary, libertarian roots.... However, whichever way, the AAP will likely be voting against both of these measures, as they stand.

MessageThe LPE, as usual, is against privatisation. It leads to many problems and we also feel in this case that healthcare is a human right that should be provided free whenever possible.
