| This is not a loophole for murder as the LP seems to think, but rather a offer to patient who suffer greatly. I propose to put it back to the old value, where both the patient and the doctors consent is required for euthanasia to be carried out. If I was to say a man was suffering alot, and I "assisted his suicide" that would be murder as the patient had not given concent. The only other option for the patients who consider euthanasia is to suffer painfully for whatever time they have left, which I think is not a good way to treath these patients |
