Message | This bill proposes allowing local governments to sell dangerous fireworks whoever: there is nothing to stop them selling to children. Is this what we really want? We complain about the cost of our health system, and here's one way of ensuring it'll cost even more in money, limbs and lives. The SLP has not even given a reason why we should even do this! What could the local government bodies do better than central government is already doing, regarding fireworks sales? |

Message | Can either of the two major parties please explain why the above comment was not reason enough to vote no? |

Message | Sorry, I meant the two major parties that voted yes. |

Message | OOC: I've got a lot of schoolwork at the moment, I can't comment on bils, as much as I would like. And besides, anything I vote for will pass as long as RoA party stays out :P IC: We voted yes because we believe in devolution. We believe that local governments will enforce the neccessary standards needed for that specific area. Generic policy is not as good as local policy. |

Message | You only believe in devolution because it's a popular opinion. It has nothing to do with principle. |
