Bill: Shock Horror: Freedom of Media Ownership
Details
Submitted by[?]: II / Newsnight Faction
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2114
Description[?]:
This bill comes as agreed in last term's act: http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=19149 Now I know that most of you will say right back "freedom FROM media ownership" (and to an extent I agree where you're coming from) but I stated my reasons for wanting to introduce new bills in that resolution last term. I'm looking forward to see what we can all dig up at the same time! |

Message | I favour putting things forward in single article bills, but for these two I'll make a rare exception. Come on, who has different policy to radio and tv? :D |

Message | This would take the media out of democratic public control and place it in the hands of totalitarian corporations. |
