Bill: The Nuclear Power Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori Conservative Council

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2582

Description[?]:

No evidence has been provided to confirm suspicions that nuclear power may somehow be harmful to the environment, and therefore, we see no reason why previsions for nuclear power should be prevented. We propose that the decision to transfer to nuclear power should be left to local governments, as they will be better able to address the situation from a perspective more in touch with local economies and the wishes of locals.

MessageNone from the Royalist party we could be persuaded but leaving the organisation of Nuclear Power in local hands is unthinkable, there should be a national policy

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).

Random quote: "The trouble with communism is the communists, just as the trouble with Christianity is the Christians" - Henry Louis Mencken
