Message | An extremely bloated and unacceptable proposal. We'd side with you in a proposal to set income taxes up to 5%, but no more. |

Message | We need to pay our debt back! We have too long lived under a budget deficit, that costed us more then 1.000.000.000.000 CDC! |

Message | We also disagree with the current rampant deficit, but this proposal is absolutely unrealistic. Citizens will not accept a sudden cut of 20%-50% in their earnings, not even for a single year. Have the Communist Senators thought of people paying their mortgages? Most families barely make it to the end of the month, and saving rates are about 2% at most. Families' economies would be wrecked by such an irrational proposal! As we pointed out before, we support an indirect taxes-only system like the one currently in place, but in order to curb deficit and comply (once and for all) with the Budget Balancing Act, we'd support _either_ a temporary direct tax of up to 5%, or a raise in indirect taxes. We've been siding with you and rejecting the budgets proposed by the JLC on the grounds that they were against the BBA, but at least they did curb deficit. Thus, either an acceptable tax proposal is passed, or we'll support the next budget that allows our country to have some surplus. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
