Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2114

Description[?]:

Several factors influence the proposal of this Bill
1) We believe it is the right of citizens to determine what enters their body
2) It is our view that cannabis is on par with tobacco and given that ciggarettes are available we believe cannabis should be also
3) It will significantly reduce organised crime as they will be deprived of a revenue stream
4) If it's legalised, we can tax it ;)

MessageThe proposal lacks detail. FBSP believes cannabis should be regulated and restricted, and only available to adults - but legal within certain boundaries. We will vote in favour.

Messageooc: unfortunately the policies allowed are a bit lacking in detail. by legalising cannabis we mean having the same standards as ciggarettes. to be regulated by the government and to ensure they are old sold to adults.

MessageHis Grace thinks the people he gets cannabis from are perfectly respectable, and didn't realise until I pointed it out to him that it was illegal.
