CONSIDERING, the consumption of alcohol and other dangerous substances is a choice which individuals make knowing full well of the consequences. CONSIDERING, private life and lifestyles are the responsibilities of the individual. CONSIDERING, the government has no place in the private lives of its citizens CONSIDERING, what an individual does with their body is part of their private individual right to choose AND CONSIDERING, the bureaucracy required in maintaining and ensuring the "legal" sale of alcohol and handing our liscences is a financial burden better used for more practical purposes. WE THEREFORE PROPOSE, that, upon passage of this bill by a 50%+ majority, alcohol regulations are loosened in the Free State. |
