Bill: Liberals & Royalists Unite to form the Hutori Liberal-Royalist Party

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberale Partij (L)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2588

Description[?]:

The Hutori Liberal Party and the Hutori Royalist Party have united to form the Hutori Liberal-Royalist Party. Separately, the Liberals and Royalist occupied first and second spot in the two coastal provinces, jointly holding 43,14% of parliamentary seats in Roccato and 41,31% of parliamentary seats in Kenai. In the upcoming election, the party hopes to consolidate its popularity in these provinces, perhaps to gain an outright majority.

The Hutori Liberal-Royalist Party has a broad platform of constitutional democratic government, progressive social policies, secular government, and an equitable market economy. The party is committed to a peaceful solution in the Hutori Civil War, and it includes voters from both Confederate and Union territory.

The new party hopes to become a major centrist force in Hutori. It is willing to cooperate (in government or in opposition) both with the left and the right. The Royalist and Liberal wings of the party have agreed only to jointly enter into a government coalition, citing no a priori preference for working with conservative or confederate partners.
