MessageThis will make it more expensive for our citizens, they have to buy expensive steel, and will deny our progress in the international economy.

With no tarrif, we will import the things other nations can produce best and cheapest, and will export the things we can produce cheap. It is a win situation for the country and citizens all over the world. We should not interfere in this progress.

MessageIt would be very sad for our nations steel foundries to be put out of buisiness by cheap, overseas comptetion. By placing tariffs on nations that do not impose tariffs on us, we 1) promote free trade with Hulstira and 2) protect steel foundries at home.

Cheap and best don't usually go next to each other in a sentence, especially with "and" between them.

MessageThis is bullshit, we of the PLP are strong believers of the Ricardien view on international economy. Every nation will produce what it can produce best at lowest cost.

The "argument" that cheap is not as good as expensive is a lousy understatement, you are only after protecting your inefficient steel foundry. Inefficient and expensive.

It is not to us who produce good and cheap materials, it is up to the consumers to decide, and if our steel is indeed so much better, consumer will buy the better steel if they want, but do not force our consumers to make decisions they would otherwise not have made.

MessageSuch vulgar language. If my grandmother were here, she'd have a few things to say to...

We are not forcing the consumer to only buy local steel (for example). We are only protecting local steel. Besdies, it makes some extra cash for the government so we could, possibly, lower taxes.

MessageYes you are, by making foreign more expensive you disturb the rules of international trade.
You want to lower tax by lowering there purchasing power? By making goods more expensive to our consumers? They will have a decrease in purchasing power and you want to make it up with lower tax? This of course, will never be symmetric and our citizens will have the idea they are distressed by our government, which they are if this act pass.

Excuse us for our language, this is a very important item to our party and our believes, and sometimes we can not control ourselves.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
