Bill: Bill of restraint
Details
Submitted by[?]: Republican Patriciate Coalition
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2588
Description[?]:
Reason rules over extremism Sometimes there is too little restriction, sometimes too much: 1. Open homosexuality will make soldiers uncomfortable and hamper their effectiveness 2. Abortion just before birth is murder, plain and simple. 3. It should be charged as a lesser offense, as it is well intended. But killing of someone should never be tolerated, it is a sliding slope to killing someone with money difficulties or after a divorce... 4. We should ban paper boys? Please. What's wrong with children earning for a little more sweet money? 5. It's going to happen anyway. Better where it can be regulated then where it runs amok under criminal gangs and slavery. 6. Killing for our beef burgers is hardly an offense, it's natural. |

Message | 1. Compromise, we're moderates generally 2. Actually he does... 3. 11 year olds still go round the neighbourhood cleaning cars for a few pennies 4. Probably manslaughter, or assisted suicide 5. Again, compromise 6. Why? It simply pushes them into crime, where things are far worse for all involved |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
