Message | Proposterous. The Counter-Revolutionary Party proposes a strong centralized government in order to 'protect' this country from communism, of all things? We do not agree with such a centralization and concentration of power in the federal government, nor do we agree, in any way, with a centralized welfare state, a paternalistic nanny state where citizens are constantly sucking at the teet of the federal government. This is, ironically, similar to communist legislation anyway. We believe that socialism and the welfare state give rise to communism - they are virtually one in the same, though with different masks. Socialism is the last remedy we would propose for solving the problem of an impending communist threat. No more concentration of cash and power into the hands of the centralized federal government! |
