| Message | Absolutely not. This is social engineering. The federal government has no right to dictate to local communities and families what has to be acceptable - ie., homosexuality. Legalizing homosexual marriage is perhaps the worst of all. This is a federal imposition of a politically correct, homosexual agenda on the populace. Why should our traditional, age-old institution of marriage be directly torn asunder, just because the federal government wants to change the way we naturally and historically think about and react to homosexuality? And the wrong-ness of homosexual marriage is even reflected in nature itself. Marriage between a man and a woman produces children, where homosexual marriage can never do so naturally. As reproduction is one of the most integral elements of mankind, and indeed, every other animal species, it is the only natural association fit for marriage. |
