Details

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2590
Description[?]:
The FTP believes in the supreme sovereignity of all nations, and that every nation should take care of its own domestic issues well and truly before those of any other. We, therefore, do not believe that Trigunia should regularly offer aid to any other country - this tax money goes to other countries, rather than contributing to the betterment of our own country, and we do not feel that it is responsible to tax-payers to use their money for issues that are of absolutely no concern and no effect to them. Secondly, monetary aid generally goes towards prolonging the ailments of other countries, rather than solving the root problems that cause these ailments. This means that massive amounts of money are going towards a band-aid solution, but at the end of the day, the underlying problem still remains. We do not believe massive amounts of cash should be flushed into countries with relatively minimal effect on moving these countries towards actually becoming self-reliant and able to take care of their own issues. We might be able to make an exception in the case of extreme disasters, but aside from this, we do not believe we should be offering aid. |

Message | "The FTP believes in the supreme sovereignity of all nations" - why such a lies when power in previously sovereign Trigunia is occupied by Hutorian Aristocracy? |

Message | We remind the SA that we have, in no way, infringed on the sovereignity of Trigunia. By no means are the Hutorian migrants 'occupying' Trigunia. We would like to believe, in a way, that we have become Trigunians, and we are not occupying Trigunia on behalf of Hutori in any way. We admit that many current parties in positions of power are ex-Hutorian, but this should, by no means, suggest that we are trying to infringe on the sovereignity of this great country, or that we are trying to usurp the powers in Trigunia for our own ends, least of all for the ends of Hutori. We remind the SA that we have completely renounced any allegiance to Hutori - we are no longer citizens of Hutori, we no longer work in the interests of Hutori, or any such thing. Certainly, our hearts will always remain with Hutori, as it was once our country; a great country. But the Hutori of today is over-run by a communist plague, and is now a country we want no part of. We are sorry to hear that the SA feel, as they do, that the migrants from Hutori are 'occupying' Trigunia in some way, or that we are somehow usurping power and infringing on sovereignity, but we assure them, we are not attempting to do any such thing. We urge the SA to think of us as Trigunians - we now work in the interests of Trigunia, and Trigunia alone. We want to work for the betterment of this country as we once did for Hutori. And we certainly believe in the full sovereignity of this country, and would never do anything to impede it. |
