Bill: Vehicle Rights Act

Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2590
Description[?]:
An outright ban on non green cars is ridiculous. We need to give people the option of having gasoline powered vehicles. If a person wants to do their part to help the environment, they can buy a green car, but we must not take away our citizens' right to own a gas powered vehicle. |

Message | this legislation has been in for over 50 years, petrol powered vehicles are a thing of the past no one makes them and due to this act no one has them. Vanuku does not have a large amount of oil and what it has it uses for export, funding the economy or fueling such state vehicles like tanks and Frigates. to reintroduct petrol powered private vehicles is economical bad as well as environmental. the SJP is just wrong here. The SJP is living in the past, quit living in the past. |

Message | We, the SJP, feel that gasoline powered vehicles should not be banned outright. This does not mean that everyone has to go and buy them, it just means that the option is available. A few gas cars here and there will not destroy the environment. Also, collectors and enthusiasts will be without unnecessary restriction. |
