Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: December 2115
Description[?]:
With the recent new conservative parties' activism, we fear a potential military coup in the guise of "police assistance". We ask our fellow mainstream parties to understand this threat and make sure that policy continues to be decided by the people and their representatives, not the military. |

Message | That's some extreme reasoning for the bill that you have there... |

Message | We feel that the government should not be legislating AGAINST parties in this manner, and will therefore oppose this bill. What happens when there's a natural disaster, will the police not be allowed to call for assistance from the military? |

Message | The only purpose of the military is for wars. Unless a civil war occurs within our country during those disasters, there is no reason why they should be needed. For federal emergencies, a trained and specialized disaster relief corps should be utilized instead, not a bunch of soldiers. |

Message | Do we have this trained disaster relief corps, no we don't. The army are trained to deal with emergencies like natural disasters, their organisational skills are amongst the best in the world, let them help the police if the police require it. |
