Bill: Call for early elections, July 2589
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Democrat and Reform Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: March 2590
Description[?]:
We, the Constitutional Union, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. Again, we do not have a fully seated legislature. There is also but one bill pending passage. The people deserve to be fully represented. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | Given that the seats currently unoccupied are equally distributed geographically, we can see no reason to have a mid-term election. Maybe people will think twice before throwing their votes away on flaky pseudo-socialists in future. |

Message | Because the seats belonged to a party whose positions you opposed is no reason to deny the people full representation. |

Message | It has nothing to do with our opposition to that party; in fact, we didn't really oppose them as they wee fairly inconsequential... We merely fail to see why, for the sake of 1 or 2 seats per prefecture, we should inconvenience the 85 million voters across the country. |

Message | Democracy is not an inconvenience, nor are the seats inconsequential. You proved this when you passed the atavist measures - measures that would not have passed without the absence of those seats. |
