MessageDon't try to manipulate this. Even if we reduce the defense budget more, we will still maintain nuclear weapons because those are the laws.

The corporation tax was increased to 9%, it gave us 4 billion more.

MessageWe think this is an insult to the greatest nation on earth. We believe that defence should not be cut as drastic. And believe that government should start working towards privatization and less interference towards taxation.

MessageI guess I have to inform the Conservative Party because apparently they don't understand.

First of all, I am the biggest supporter of defense in this country, any party can tell you that. But we don't need a defense budget so high. The only reason it was at 70 billion LOD was because we had to pay for a naval contract (which I proposed) and a missile defense shield (which I also proposed).

The contract is almost paid off, we don't need that money now.

We have a completely free education system, no private schools. So, we need the money for that.

We have an almost completely free health care system, so, we also need money for that.

Natural disasters exist and we need to prevent it. That's why Environment and Tourism is getting some money.

And please try not to say that we don't care about our country. We care very much.

MessageThank you for the walkthrough. All I saw, as I didn't have any sort of backround information was: My God! They're drasticly cutting defense!

Theoretically I'm against your policies. But to make the best out of everything I'll support this budget. Even though we do not have any seats. You'll have my "true" support. :)

MessageYour statement that we got 4 billions more from the corporation tax increase is simply wrong. As off right now our total income from that tax is 2.6 billion, no where near the 4 billion you stated.

As for what you said CP, I agree with you, but LP does not want privatization, they recently decided to enforce there will on our nations parents by taking away from them the choice of education for there children by banning private schools. They are pro big governement so your not gonna see anything like that in there bills

MessageWe received 4 more billions from the corporation tax. Trust me, this is going to be a balanced budget with a surplus of 1-2 billion LOD. You know that. I will NEVER put us in a deficit spending.

I didn't enforce my will on the people, we voted on what was best for the people. If private education is not doing the job, we need to step in and fix it. That's what we did, even though you opposed it. Something you left out, the majority of Parliament voted for it, we didn;t do anything illegal.

MessageWe did not recive 4 more billions from the corporation tax, its not possible since our total income from that tax is 2.6 billion (check the budget information on the nation page).

I know a majority of the parties voted for it, but it is imposing our will on our citizens, taking away from them the choice of what type of education to get. How would you feel if say I managed to get a bill passed which outlawed public education? (no need to reply to that specific comment, we both know the answer). We should provide private education as a equal form of education to public, not ban one and force everyone into the other. Right now our school system is communistic and totalitarian because the government controls every aspect of it, refusing to allow any other alternatives

You also never produced any evidence private education where not doing its job.

Also you have never really said a argument for why public education is best. I have said why I prefer private education (more individualistic, not as much focus on egalitarianism, more choices etc) but all you have said is public education is best, whithout telling any specific arguments)

MessageYou are right on the corporation tax. I only looked at the revenue and assumed it came all from the corporation tax. But we have the money anyways.

I did tell you the benefits of public education and the disadvantages of private education. When we changed our laws, I gave the reason why we were doing it.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
