Message | "Our nations already has the grave policy of allowing foreign investors to freely invest-with no oversight in our domestic companies. This in and of itself is an outrage and slow suicide on the economic front. It is an imperative that the National Directorate take immediate actions to reform the negligent stance on stock markets. As former Minister of Finance I know a thing or two about economics and being a member of a party that is firmly against undue government oversight in the markets that enables me to bring forward the following proposal and appeal to the Directorate to vote in favor of this bill." Message | "What is so wrong with foreign investment? And what business does the government have in going into business? Let the market take care of itself. To be sure, a little regulation would not hurt, but to nationalise the stock market?" -Major Stede Bonnet, Directorate Member |
