Message | OOC: I'm tired and in a hurry so instead of a long description you get some random Latin stuff. |
Date | 11:13:27, June 12, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | We wonder why the Conservatives have conspired with the Socialists to betray the people of Sekowo. |
Date | 22:48:03, June 12, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | Conspired? No, no. Conservatives don't conspire. We do what we feel is in the best interest of those who voted for us. Our party strongly supports a future for this country. The forest protection, tree replanting and hunting laws are those that the party is supporting. The other two, at the moment, we would rather leave it to local government however we will not object to it having some federal laws pertaining to it. |
Date | 22:51:08, June 12, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | OOC: NPP, as a matter of fact, CP agrees with DSP 30% of the time. NPP agrees with DSP 32% of the time. Now who really is conspiring here? =D |
Date | 23:55:36, June 12, 2008 CET | From | Normand Pluralist Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | [[This just seems like such an unlikely thing for the conservatives to agree with the socialists on: in essence, the conservatives are voting for socialism in this case.]] |
Date | 01:39:32, June 13, 2008 CET | From | Revolutionary State Socialist Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | OOC: Even if he voted no, it'd still pass, so it doesn't really matter. |
Date | 02:48:07, June 13, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | OOC: Socialism is an economic system, protecting the environment transcends economic systems, so I would'nt say it's a socialist proposition. |
Date | 17:09:49, June 13, 2008 CET | From | Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | OOC: You're dead wrong. Socialism is also the regulation of government. And, frankly, the enforcement of socialism is to kill many jobs, many industries. There is a responsibility to protect the environment, but not from the federal level, and not by government. Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best sense, is but a necessary evil. (Paraphrasing Paine here. Not enough time to look up the quote. I think the only difference is the 'its' Correct me if I'm wrong.) |
Date | 08:36:12, June 14, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Party | To | Debating the DSP.193.2590 |
Message | NPP, we are voting in favour for environmental reasons. We are conservatives, not ultra right-wing fanatics. Again, it comes down to what 'conservative' means. However, there are certain forms of socialism which is good: free public health care system and free public education. The CP is a reasonable party that stands for the best policies. ;-) Just in majority, our values lean toward the right. |
