Message | OOC: it is quite strange that you can devote ~ 60% of your budget for defense and still sustain a normal economy:-) you would never come even close to that in the real life, but it always seems to happen in the games where your country can build an army.. Lets hope in the future they will come up with something more balanced.. |

Message | We can support a strong military, and we are almost never averse to spending on justice, but we would prefer that other, less important spending was cut to compensate for the spending increases in these two departments. Environment and tourism, trade and industry, and foreign affairs, for example, may be areas we can cut spending in. Whilst we certainly support the spirit of this proposal, and support a strong military and justice system, we are very critical of any overall spending increases, especially on the federal level. We will unfortunately have to vote against for this reason. |

Message | If the TPP were to reduce spending in other areas to compensate for the increased spending in military and justice departments, we would certainly support. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
