Message | Come on now, are you honestly suggesting that the "central government" should go out and waste money on creating a national fire department while it's doing just fine in local hands? How do you expect to pay for all this, you know. There is more money going into the government rather than into the hands of the citizens, how does that work? I hope the Diet makes the right choice and votes no on this act. |

Message | This is completely idiotic, hopefully even the parties who oppose local government empowerment can see that. The Fascist Authority Party is obviously bent on making the Crownland governments another waste of tax money - just like the majority of their other reforms. This is senseless and we echo the call of the CAP for the Imperial Diet to reject it. |

Message | We did not know that if the local government funds the fire department, it does not cost any money. Maybe the HNP must think first, it always has to be paid and by making it a centralized organ we can get scale benefits! |

Message | A centralized fire department in Kien would take days to get to Kuratha! |

Message | If a person in Graaffsberg phones in and reports a fire at his home, where should it go? To a centralised centre in Kien? Or to a local fire brigade two streets away? The PLP should think before they blindly follow the fascist lead toward an massively bureaucratic fanatically centralised state. Particularly in the area of fire brigades, local communities are better apt to deal with the issue. By the way, the point we were making earlier about tax money is that whether the fanatically centalist parties like it or not, we're always going to have local governments. It's built into our Constitution and laws that local government will exist. What the fanatically centralist parties seem to have failed to realise is that if they totally disempower them - which they seem to be trying to do - they will just be sitting there doing nothing wasting tax money. If our Constitution wisely requires us to have local governments, why should we make them useless drains of resources? |

Message | Who said that there would be just one fire department in the entire Crownlands? There will be several divisions (under one banner with the National Fire Department of course) protecting each citizen. One location for an entire fire department is foolish and illogical. The NFD will be there for every citizen, not just for the people in Kien as other parties think. |

Message | Then what is the point of centralisation other than spending hundreds of millions of crowns relabelling and restructuring a system that already works? |
