Description[?]:

Proposition BL84 - An Act concerning free will as it relates to Euthanasia

CONSIDERING, one's body and life is the right and property of the individual.
CONSIDERING, that Euthanasia, while it can be considered murder, is conducted on the urgings and expressed consent of the patient.
CONSIDERING, the concept of free will when it concerns one's life is paramount in both secular and Christian philosophies and ideologies. Free will itself is considered a god-given right to be protected in Catholic theology. While it is also a natural right to secular concepts of the person.
CONSIDERING, it is not the purpose of government to judge one's choices if they pertain to causing harm or ending harm to oneself.

IN CONCLUSION, we feel there is no choice but to legalize Euthanasia as a right of patients enduring physical pain and anguish on their deathbeds.
