Bill: Personal Rights Act of 2592

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Labor Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2593

Description[?]:

Malivia Left proposes two changes to current legislation. Firstly, we believe that divorce should be legal, as long as there is mutual consent between both partners. Current legislation that divorce can only occur in cases of adultery etc. are too strict. Couples who fall apart should have the right to divorce. Secondly, we propose that groups of people have the right to assemble in public without being harrassed by the police. We propose that the police can only break up groups who pose a threat to public safety. The reputation of Malivia would be poor if we gained a reputation for police brutality.
