Bill: Right to Slow Suicide Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party (ZC)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2595
Description[?]:
It should not be the governments role to dictate who can or cannot and where one can or cannot light up. We've more pressing matters to attend to than this concern. Besides that, many Directors in the F.R.P. would like to smoke a nice cigar while in legislative sessions. |

Old value:: Smoking regulations are to be determined by local governments.
Current: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in all places of employment.

Message | The Populist Party, since its inception, has ardently supported the personal rights of Zardugal's people. Like the F.R.P., we believe that individuals should have the right to smoke practically everywhere. This legislation would allow for property owners to require that people not smoke there. In addition, public places such as restaurants would have the ability to establish separate smoking and non-smoking sections. For these reasons, we support this cleverly-named legislation. |
